Transition to adulthood

Since I decided to quit college I realized that I need to get a job. Besides the fact that my father wants me to get a job I want to get a job so I can be able to provide for myself.  I don't like to have to depend on people so getting a job would be a good solution. Also,  I would like to move out as soon as possible. I've been dreaming of moving out and living on my own since I was a kid.  Back then it was so I can stay up late and watch all the television I wanted, now it's about being on my own and knowing I can take care of myself. Summer youth is a job during the summer working with kids of various ages,  preparing games and activities for them to do.  So to get the hang of working and see if I would want to work with children as a career I have applied for summer youth. Other than that I constantly look for jobs in my area on Snagajob. I try to apply to more jobs online but it's hard because I have no references or a good resume.

college, passion, and goals

Probably a serious post to start out with but you got to start somewhere, right? I'm 18 I attended an early college high school. This just means that I graduated early. So after I graduated I attended a community college for almost 3 semesters. Just recently I decided to stop going. I was on academic probation but that's only a small part of the decision I made to stop attending. The big part was that I had absolutely no idea what I was going for. People say you can go to college and then figure out what you want to do but that just wasn't working for me. Not only was I wasting my financial aid but I was wasting my time.

I am in no way trying to give off the idea that you shouldn't go to college because you don't know what you want to do because trying things while you're there may work for you it just didn't work for me. I'm also not saying you shouldn't attend college at all I would like to go back in the maybe not-so-near future. Whatever I decide I'll be sure to share it.
