A Day in The City

 Two weeks ago me and a bunch of my friends went to the city(Manhattan). We all had agreed the previous day to meet up at 11 a.m at a designated location. I was the first to get there at 11:03. After an hour my cousin got there and told me to walk to Barnes & Nobles and that became the new place for the rest of my friends to meet up at. Everyone was late some more than others. Around 1:30 p.m we decided to walk to East 14 street and then make our way to SOHO to walk around. The walk to East 14th street was not short at all. We walked about 34 long Manhattan blocks to get there. (This is one of the many buildings we passed on our journey.)

By the time we walked to East 14th street we were hungry. The four girls, including myself, stopped at Wendy's to get something to eat while the three boys decided to keep walking to get Chipotle. After we finished eating we walked to go  meet the boys outside of Chipotle. When we noticed we were across the street from a huge Best Buy I wanted to go in to check out some camera lenses. I already knew that I wanted a 50mm 1.8/1.4 lens so I was just checking the price it was about $110. After talking with the lovely lady that worked in the Canon camera section of the store she had advised us that Best Buy was hiring so we headed over to the laptop section to apply. We weren't able to finish our application because we didn't have our resumes with us.

 After about an hour or more in Best Buy we walked across the street to Union Square Park to sit and figure out what we wanted to do next. By this time we had already decided against continuing our walk to SOHO. Although we were tire we didn't want to end our day and go home yet. So after some discussion we decided to take the train to Grand Central terminal to go to the Apple Store so my friends could charge their phones and then Bryant Park to hang out.

I will put this guys name under the picture if I find his business card. We saw him when we were walking to Crumbs. Four of my friends purchased his paintings after we stood there and watched him complete a few. wet hen went to Bryant park and sat there a while before deciding to call it a night and go our separate ways to get home.

My Month of May

Due to my lack of ideas for this post, I decided to talk about how I spent most of the month of May. I went to my cousins house on the first Friday in May. During the week because my cousins had school I was in the house alone, but each weekend was eventful.  That weekend we had a barbeque in the backyard. The second weekend we went to iPlay America in New Jersey. The third weekend we went to the Poconos for Mothers Day weekend. On the Saturday of my last weekend we went to a small indoor amusement park for little kids.

I took this picture at a gas station in New Jersey on May 10. I went to iPlay America with my family for my little cousin 10th birthday. While the drivers of each car parked to get gas and go in the store, all of the kids stayed in the car. We turned up the radio and started jamming.

I took this pic on May 17th, while the car had stopped at a red light. We were on our way to get Chinese food. We were coming from my little cousins 2nd birthday party.
